Welcome to the RANZCO NSW Branch Annual Scientific Meeting 2027 On behalf of the Organising Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the RANZCO New South Wales Branch Annual Scientific Meeting 2027, to be held at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney on 27-28 February 2027. The meeting theme, “Evidence in Eye Care: What you need to know in everyday practice & reflects our commitment to translating the latest research, innovations and clinical evidence into practical insights that can improve patient care.

This meeting will bring together ophthalmologists, trainees, researchers, and industry partners from across Australia for two days of high-quality education, discussion and collaboration. Our program will focus on the evidence that informs contemporary ophthalmic practice, providing delegates with the opportunity to learn from leading experts, explore emerging developments and engage in thoughtful debate on topics relevant to everyday clinical care.

In addition to a stimulating scientific program, the meeting offers valuable opportunities to connect with colleagues, foster new collaborations and strengthen the professional networks that underpin excellence in eye care. This year we are bringing back a conference dinner to be held on Saturday night at the O bar and restaurant - get your tickets early as places will be limited and in high demand.

Sydney provides a vibrant backdrop for this gathering, and we look forward to welcoming you to the historic heart of the city at Circular Quay.
